Steven grew up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where he learned the value of hard work and determination by raising cattle, playing sports and being involved in a plethora of extracurricular activities. He attended college and earned a degree in Botany, which paved the way for his work in urban agriculture (hydroponics / aquaponics), organic farming, and project management in the solar industry. Since moving to western North Carolina in 2013, Steven founded and developed Treehouse Farms, an organic vegetable farm in Burnsville (Now being operated by Seven Seeds Farm). He also helped co-found Fox and Beaux Boutique in downtown Asheville, which has since become one of Asheville's most popular custom wedding ring designers and highest rated jewelry stores. When he is not helping his clients, Steven can be found enjoying Lake James or pursuing his hobbies of homesteading, gardening, cooking, fishing, hiking, golfing, backpacking, and traveling the world. He has a deep love for God, people and nature.
