Jona is a native of Burke County and a graduate of Freedom High School. She received her Paralegal Degree from Western Piedmont Community College and is a Certified Paralegal through the NC Bar Association, with over 30 years of experience. In 2007, she obtained her Real Estate license. Jona has experience with mortgage closings, owner-financing, non-residential Real Estate closings, appraisals and estates. She offers valuable knowledge of Burke County, as well as beautiful Lake James. Jona has three grown children and is a member of First Baptist Church in Morganton. She enjoys yoga and walking her dogs, cooking and reading.
