Greg, a native of Burke County, North Carolina has lived in Morganton for the majority of his life. He joined the military at a young age, serving as a Drill Sergeant, Paratrooper and also completing two combat tours in Iraq. He remained in the Army Reserve for 32 years, retiring as a Command Sergeants Major. Along with the Army Reserve, Greg maintained a Law Enforcement career of 30 years and served as a Master Trooper with the NC State Highway Patrol, retiring in 2013. Greg has been a licensed real estate broker since 1994. Since his retirement, he continues to serve his community as the Broker/Owner of Fonta Flora Realty with the same passion and dedication as he did in his two previous careers. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a Master’s Degree in Justice Administration. Greg and his wife Kathy have two children and five grandchildren. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, and boating on Lake James with his family. He feels blessed to live in such a beautiful community and is quick to share his enthusiasm.
